Jakarta, Spasi-id.com - PT Train Indonesian Commuter (KCI) applied the rules to keep passengers from speaking directly or by telephone along the way. The rules were made when the Covid-19 was high.
Until recently, the passenger ban on the train has not been revoked. Passengers on the KRL are always reminded by the Announcer on the way. The CRL claims it's based on the rules of the government.
In fact, the current state of society has started to act as normal as before the pandemic. The Covid-19 case number doesn't indicate significant increase.

The government keeps updating the rules of travel using trains. The rules for KRL passengers are in effect at this time in the SE-Release (SE) Ministry of Relationship Number 84 of the Year 2022 of the Interior Enforcement on Transparency on the Covid- 19 Pandemic on August 26, 2022.
In the SE, it was still found to not speak one way or two through the phone or directly along the way. Prohibition of speaking in KRL includes health protocols required by all passengers.
For some passengers, it's an exaggeration. Especially along the way, everyone was wearing masks. But some of the other passengers felt it was good. The train is calmer. There was no loud chatter.
"It's good, it's quiet. Those who want to sleep are comfortable," said Lia, one of the Bogor-Jakarta passengers.
