WhatsApp launched a new feature that allowed users to leave long group chats without telling anyone about their exit.
Nowadays, withdrawing from the WhatsApp group chat can be an awkward affair because everyone in the chat is told when you leave. In a bigger group, it can also interfere.
But, soon, instead of telling everyone in the group when someone leaves, the admin will only be told. This feature is going to start rolling to every WhatsApp user this month.
It's part of a few steps that the order platform took encrypted in an effort to improve privacy. Another device announced by the company will allow users to hide their presence so that others can't see them online.
WhatsApp is also testing settings that stop the contacts from capturing the "See Once" message screen, which cannot be accessed after it first opened.
