Jakarta, Spami-id.com - MotoGP driver Marc Marquez is signaling who's going to be his date at Honda Repsol next season.
From next season, Pol Espargaro will defend Tech3 KTM and Alex Marquez has chosen to receive a proposal from Gresini Ducati.
According to Marc Marquez, Joan Mir will be a strong candidate to fill Pol Espargaro's abandoned position.
"My brother Alex (Marquez) has signed a contract with Gresini and actually he needs a different motivation," Marquez said, quoted from Motosan, Saturday (13 / 8 / 2022).
"To the HRC, they said, that Mir will take Pol's position although nothing has been confirmed or, at least, which I know," the lid.
There is no response yet from both the Honda Repsol and Joan Mir, but the growing issue says Repsol Honda is in final negotiations with Joan Mir.
Joan Mir claimed she had a big desire to fight in MotoGP. But he admitted not to worry that it didn't happen.
"No, I'm not worried. If someone wants me to, I'll move on. Otherwise, I'll stay home," said Joan Mir.
