Jakarta, Spasi-id.com - The government has imposed a new rate of Pertalite Oil Fuel, solar and Pertamax since Saturday (3 / 9 / 2022).
Pertalite went from before Rp 7.650 to Rp 10,000, solar subsidies went from Rp 5.150 to Rp 6.800 and Pertamax non subsidies went from Rp 12,500 to Rp 14,500.
It allows people to find alternative BBM options cheaper for vehicles. Hope it's cheaper to save money.
Not many people use Pertamax at the latest prices high enough, moving on to a lower price is Pertalite.
Instead of looking for cheaper, the BBM selection should be adjusted to the vehicle type rather than the contents of the bag. Therefore the driver of the vehicle must first know the difference between Pertalite and Pertamax. By knowing the difference, consumers can choose the right BBM for their vehicles.
Here are five different Pertalites and Pertamax:
- octane value
Pertalite has a 90 RON. Meanwhile Pertamax, with a 92 octane. This number shows that the amount of pressure can be given before spontaneous combustion of gasoline. The higher an octan value of a fuel, the longer the fuel will burn.
So the use of BBM is Pertamax compared to Pertalite when compared to the ratio of RON will be longer Pertamax to burn. Which means Pertamax by RON is more efficient than Pertalite.
- Machine compression
The machine's compression can be the basis of Pertalite and Pertamax differences. For all we know, that Pertamax was built for machines with compression over 10: 1 to 10.9: 1. Meanwhile, Pertalite was intended for compression under Pertamax, which is 9: 1 to 10: 1.
- Liquid color
Color becomes a fundamental difference between Pertalite and Pertamax. Pertalite is usually green, whereas Pertamax is blue, and for Pertamax Turbo is red.
For all we know, the original color BBM production of the Pertamina refinery is clear. So that to make it easier in operations in the field, it's deliberately given different coloring.
- Level of pollution
Each fuel has a different level of pollution based on the quality of that fuel. The higher octane of a BBM, the smaller the level of pollution.
- Price
In terms of prices, Pertamax is worth more than Pertalite. Also need to know that this price is also based on high octane.
It's a price, a consumer consideration turning to Pertalite. But in fact, even a little more expensive, Pertamax is more powerful than Pertalite.
