Jakarta, Spasi-id.com - some large technology companies claim to issue new policies to combat online extremism. One is, by removing more violent content.

The deal was at a summit with the White House about fighting violence triggered by hatred. As prevention, they'll be more involved promoting media literature with young users.

The owner of Facebook, Meta, announced will partner with researchers from Middlebury Institute of International Study' Center on Terrorism, Extreme and Counterterrorism to fight this online violence.

YouTube will also do the same, its policy will be focused on fighting violent extremism by removing content from violent action. It even applies to users not being involved in terrorist organizations at all.

The video streaming site also said it would launch a media literacy campaign to teach younger users how to recognize manipulation tactics used to spread false information.

Microsoft said it would create a basic and affordable version of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools available to schools and smaller organizations to help them detect and prevent violence.

It's known, applications like YouTube and Facebook, have been getting blisters from critics for a long time. They say, the company has let the teaching of hatred and rhetoric violence thrive in their service.
