Musk says Beijing doesn't want him selling Starlinks in China

BEIJING, Spasi-id.com. — Elon Musk says To the Financial Times. That the Chinese government doesn't want him selling Starlink satellite Internet services in China.

"Musk says Beijing has made clear his disapproval of the Starlink launch, his recent SpaceX satellite communication system, in Ukraine, is used to help the military avoid the release of the Russian internet," said the newspaper in the "FT Lunch" column published Friday.

"He told Beijing looking for assurances that he wouldn't sell the Starlink in China," said the article.

FT didn't say whether Musk approved the Beijing request. Business leaders, who are the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

Musk's giant electric company, Tesla relied on China for over 20% of his income and owned a huge factory in Shanghai.

Unlike the U.S. and other countries of the Russian invasion to Ukraine this year, China refuses to call it an invasion.
