Jakarta, Spami-id.com - Singapore's government revoked the mandatory rules of using masks for society, both in the room and outdoors. The rules began today, Monday (29 / 8 / 2022).
The obligation to wear a mask only applies to citizens who use public transport and are in the hospital.
Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Suryopratomo says, the release of mask use for society is based on the current state of Pandemic. "Singapore has been through the most difficult period thanks to the discipline of society," it says.
Earlier, Suryopratomo cited Singapore's national PM's speech, Lee Hsien Loong on the independence of the country, August 9, 2022.
He said Singapore has been going through the hardest time, which is the Covid-19 pandemic for two more years. However, the Singapore government has not announced official status endemic. Singapore remains vigilant to uncertainty in the future, as the rise of a new Covid-19 variant.
