It's not just ordinary people or individuals who could be victims of hacking, even a lot of companies and agencies going through it.
When it comes to companies and agencies, it's definitely entered the formal domain. They must have been using emails to send letters between companies and co-workers.
But even emails aren't off the target of cyber crime. Therefore, in 2018 Google introduced his secret mode to Gmail.
This setting allows people to send outdated messages and prevent recipients from copying their content, pass them on to others, or download them.
However, there must be less people who don't know how it works yet. Here's what you can do to send a secret email.
Through Browser
Write a new message. Find the clock icon locked on the right of the Send key, and click on that icon.
Once this will appear pop@-@ up that allows you to regulate how long you want the recipient to have access to the message before the message expires. (There are options from one day to five years).
And then under the expiration date, you'll see the category "Need Password." So, if you want extra security layers, select your SMS password. This will ask your email recipients to enter the password that will be sent through SMS to their phone number.
Notice that the message is being sent in secret mode will appear at the bottom of the message.
Through mobile
Write a message.
Hit three vertical points in the top right-hand corner of the application. Select Secret Mode. As on the web, you'll see the options for how long a message is accessible (one day - 5 years).
You will also see the Password Input option. If you want to be safer, select a Pascode text. (Same as on web).
Once you adjust the settings, the message sent in secret mode will display a small window at the bottom that detailed how long the message will exist before expiration.
