Spain, Spasi-id.com - less productive in scoring, Barcelona officially announced breaking contract with the attacker, Martin Braithwaite.

Braithwaite himself has performed 59 times for Barcelona and only donated 10 goals.

"FC Barcelona and Martin Braithwaite have reached an agreement to end the contact that ties the player to the club until the end of the 2023 / 2024 season," that is Barcelona's statement, Thursday (1 / 9 / 2022).

"FC Barcelona publicly thanked the Braithwaite for his commitment and dedication and prayed for his best and every future success."

Braithwaite is expected to cross over to a rival club across the city of Espani with a free transfer status. Word is he's gonna sign a three-year contract there.

The Danish player was recruited by Barcelona in January 2020 from another Spanish club Legans.

Barcelona recruited him for about 18 million euros and gave him a four-and-a-half-year contract.

At the time, Barca was forced to recruit Braithwaite because some of their attackers were injured, including Ousmane Dembele.

Martin Braithwaite had a chance to gain confidence in the Barcelona attack line, but the beginning of another invader got him knocked out of that firm club.
