Jakarta, Santas-id.com - the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) denounced the actor Kriss Hatta who recently claimed to date a 14-year-old newcomer artist. The difference between the two ages is pretty much 20 years younger than Kriss Hatta.
"Threatening Kriss Hatta as a public figure has set a bad example for society especially teenagers. This is potentially imitated by the Indonesian society," the KPAI's word in official news Wednesday (28 / 9 / 2022).
Besides, the KPAI also highlighted the claim of Kriss Hatta who intended to marry her boyfriend after graduating high school.
"Kriss Hatta also claims to be married immediately to the girlfriend after graduating high school, which is also potentially the glorification of child-age marriage. Whereas the state and local authorities are struggling to get their children married down," with the KPAI.
"Public figure should support a government program that does well for this nation. The marriage of a powerful child has cost the child his rights to grow optimal growth," plus KPAI again.
Although Kriss Hatta has yet to reveal the identity of her lover, KPAI feels that the actions of Kriss Hatta are in a relationship with this underage child are not justified.
"Sooner or later the public will find out. This is going to be a potentially powerful glorification. A grown-up love story that deserves to be his father with a minor. Don't let this be considered fair by the public," said the KPAI.
Besides, KPAI criticized Kriss Hatta's beloved parents who allowed their children to date at a young age.
"So parents should support this 14-year-old ananda to explore its potential, to support its talent, to facilitate career opportunities and work in youth, not allow it to marry young because it's dating men much older than him," firmly KPAI.
