Jakarta, Spami-id.com - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is back in the state's official ceremony.
At RI-77, Jokowi was wearing a custom suit from Buton to Southeast Maqwesi, wearing a Dokomani suit which was the custom of Buton.
"It's a dress from Buton, Southeast Arkwesi. This is a Dunomani dress from Buton," Jokowi said at Jakarta State Palace, Wednesday (17 / 8).
The area clothes apparently hold the meaning of the founders of Buton Kingdom. The coral and custom clothes of Buton are unique and diverse. This custom suit is unique because there are no similarities to other country suits in Indonesia or even in the world.
It's uniquely visible in the blotter, shape, variety, and use of each of these customary clothes. It also describes the diversity of Buton's social background culture especially the early founders of the Buton empire related to the social society of Buton.
Jokowi was also wearing a custom suit at the 2022 MPR RI Court. He's wearing a Paksian suit which is the custom of the Belitung Province.
