"Inpress Number 7 / 2022 named Full-Mokowi Electric Vehicle Inpress (Battery Electric Vehicle) as Operational Services Vehicle and / or Permanent Personnel Agency and the State Government signed President Jokowi on September 13, 2022," said Moeldoko, quoted Between Thursday (15 / 2022).
He explained, Inpres are a form of Jokowi's commitment to applying energy transition from fossil sources to new and renewable energy.
"In order to manifest the great design of energy transition, the government began by transitioning and conversion of conventional vehicles into electric vehicles," clearly.
The Inpress Number 7 / 2022 is addressed to all the ministers of the Indonesian Cabinet, the Cabinet Secretary, the Chief of Presidential Staff, the Attorney General, the Chief of TNI, the head of the Indonesian Police Department, the heads of the non-ministry government agencies, the leaders of the treasury, the governors, and the Regent.
Through the Inpress, Jokowi ordered every minister until the local chief put together and set regulations to support the acceleration of the use of electric vehicles. The President also instructed budget allocation to support the program.
