The head of the Public Meteorology Center of the Meteorology of Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG), Fachri Radjab says rain in a period of common drought in tropical countries like Indonesia.
"For tropical islands like Indonesia, the rain in the drought period was a common thing," said Fachri quoted from his official description, Saturday (3 / 9 / 2022).
In addition, Fachri said that the rain in the dry season that is still happening in Indonesia until today is due to complex atmospheric dynamics coupled with rising sea-face temperatures in Indonesia.
"Added to that the uniformity of atmospheric dynamics is either regional, global or local,
"The temperature of the sea face is warm, and then the smear of wet air mass, both from the West and from the East to the West, which met in Indonesia," he said.
"And the interaction with local factors such as the windbreaking area is the combination of these phenomena that still causes rain in the drought period," close Fachri.
