The head of the Founder and the National Planning Family (BKBN) Hasto Wardoyo said, that although there is no decrease in birth and significant population, the sex recession may happen in Indonesia.
The reason for that is the trend in the lifestyle of society today. People's lifestyle changes make the possibility of sex recession inevitable.
For some reason Indonesia can follow China and Japan having a sex recession, even without a decrease in birth and population.
- Many young people choose single
Marriage is a sacred thing. However, today many young people are choosing to be single and alone.
Even if someone wants to get married, the average marriage is over 30 years until it's hard to have children.
"Yes, I think I was in my 30s recently married." Hasto said.
- Lifestyle and mindset
The lifestyle affects both male and female reproductive organs. Young people's lifestyle today tends to be irregular, like smoking, staying up, until food consumption is not healthy.
"Not only that, their mindset also tends to be idealistic. Thinking of not having children and living as single for life or not having children even though married," said Hasto.
- Divorce
The divorce rate in Indonesia continues to improve. This is the result of the amount of birth that can also decline. - Mental problems.
People with mental illness and mental problems are increasing. These unstable emotions make it difficult for someone to have a partner, even have children.
"I call this young man who 'error', mentally emotional disorder. It also has an impact on the possible sex recession in Indonesia," he said.
