Jakarta, Spasi-id.com - there are at least four reasons the public won't move to an electric car. These new electric vehicles are being replaced by conventional vehicles using BBM as fuel.

In origin, electric vehicles are considered more environmentally friendly, more efficient and, of course, cheaper operational costs. However, many people are still reluctant to use it.

Here are four reasons for refusing to move to an electric car.

  1. Car mileage

The mileage becomes the reason people hesitate to move to an electric car. Because, most of the electric cars now circulating only have 250- 500 kilometers of mileage in one battery charge.

The car was also given only one battery. So when the battery runs out, the rider has to recharge it.

Imagine going from Jakarta to Surabaya with about 800 kilometers of mileage while an electric car can only travel 300 kilometers would take so much time.

  1. The price is still high.

In addition to mileage, the other obstacle is that this car is swamped at a very expensive price. The average electric car sold over Rp500 million with average features. In fact, the same price has been able to get a pretty premium gas SUV or solar.

  1. The electrical station is still low

Unlike existing gas stations all over Indonesia, the electrical supply station is still minimal. Right now it's known that government via the PLN is in the middle of building an electrical charging station.

However, for the time being conventional cars are still the right choice while waiting for the development of the fill station in various parts of Indonesia.

  1. Old time charging

Not only is the power station minimal, battery charge time takes hours. Even to travel 300 kilometers, must recharge the electric car battery for the first three to five hours.

It does cost to charge an electric car less than gas or solar, but time also needs to be considered.
