"Today, August 18th, 2022, I officially launched seven pieces of 2022 Year's paper money as a legitimate payment throughout the Indonesian Republic of the United States (NKRI)," said Governor of Indonesia Perry Warjiyo in Jakarta.
Perry said that seven bills of TE 2022 became a legitimate payment tool from August 18, 2022 to complete the existence of existing paper bills.
This 2022 is keeping the prime picture of national heroes on the front as well as the theme of Indonesian culture as dance, landscape, and flora on the back as is TE 2016.
However, there are three aspects of reinforcement innovation in TE 2022, which is sharper color design, more reliable safety elements and better money resistance.
The innovation was meant to make it easier to identify its authenticity, comfortable and safe to use and harder to fake, so that it became more qualified and trustworthy.
