Argentina, Spasi-id.com - former racer of the Pertamina team Mandalika SAG Gabriel Rodrigo announced to end his professional career as a 25-year-old racer.

The Argentinean racers announced the plan by video on social media, Wednesday.

"Hello everyone. I made this video to announce that I decided to end my career as a professional racer," Rodrigo said on social media as it was loaded between.

"This is something I've been thinking about for a while now, but I want to explain to you what made me arrive at this decision."

The reason behind his hanging helmet, according to Rodrigo, was because of an accident he had last season before he signed a riding contract with the SAG team.

At the beginning of the season as a rookie of the SAG team, Rodrigo appeared less satisfactory after less preparation during winter, the impact of the injuries he had as well as the problems he encountered with his riding bike.

Rodrigo has also officially parted at the beginning of this month with the SAG Team, who then appointed Taiga Hada as his successor until the end of the season.

"When I had a serious accident during practice where I was risking my life, and everything that happened to other racers during that period made me think a lot of it was worth taking that much risk.

"I no longer want to risk my life, for me and for those who love me, to keep racing. It which brings me to my decision."

Rodrigo was debuting in Moto3 in 2015 with a permanent bench in the RBA Racing Team using a KTM machine.
