If you already have Strong feelings about your Instagram feed which is increasingly showing Reel of accounts that you are not following, just wait until next year.
The CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg says his company will double the amount of content from recommended accounts that people saw using Instagram and Facebook in late 2023. He said that the recommendation currently covers about 15 percent of the content on Facebook, and that the percentage is already higher on Instagram.
The urge, called Zuckerberg "Building the discovery machine," is a radical change of historical focus in Facebook and Instagram showing posts from user social graphs, or buddy lists. This shift is meant to compete with the heavy use of AI Tickook to present video from wherever it comes from. That approach quickly made the Tickook one of the most widely used applications in the world and gave birth to an entirely new economic creator.
During the second quarter income call On Wednesday, Zuckerberg explained that as "Al found extra content that people find interesting, which increases our engagement and quality feed." He said the Meta would use AI to recommend all the public shared content on his service, like links or photos.
"In that case, I think what we're doing would be very unique," he said, referring to the single focus of Tickook on the short video. "I don't think anyone would want to be confined to one format."
