KSPI president, who is also the President of the Labor Party, said Iqbal confirmed his side of denying the policy of the government. Therefore the Labor Party and KSPI will deploy a large mass to hold charges against the increase of BBM prices in the House on Tuesday (6 / 9 / 2022).

According to Iqbal, these gas prices will be very burdensome among the workers. Especially the work wages that didn't go significantly up in three years and caused a 30 percent loss in public purchasing power.

The type of fuel subsidy that goes up in prices is Pertalite from Rp 7.650 per liter to Rp 10,000 per liter. Pertamax prices are also raised to Rp 14,500 per liter
And then there's a Solar subsidy of Rp 5.150 to Rp 6.800 per liter and there's a price adjustment to nonsubsidy BBM.
