Before the game started, there was a special ceremonial to show the world's attention impending. Both team players and the referee entered the field wrapped in Ukrainian flags and stretched the banner "We're just as brave."
The decision to start the season was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky himself to give the country a moral push.
Even so, most of the clubs will have their cage games not in the city, but in the west or the middle where it's safer.
The Ukrainian league must be stopped in April. Decisions ended early seasons after the Russian invasion on February 24th.
Shakhtar Donetsk still leads daei Dynamos with two points at the top of the championship when the season was stopped, but the league decided that last season didn't give the title.
