Yogyakarta, Spami-id.com - the earth's earthquake is using 5.2 to shake the area of Bantul, the special region of Yogyakarta (DIY), on this day, Sunday (28 / 8 / 2022) at 03.49 WIB.
Official Meteorological Agency, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) mentioned the site of the earthquake located at 10,48 Southern Latitude (LS) and 109.44 Eastern Longitude (BT).
The epicenter is at sea, 303 km southwest of Bantul, 10 km deep.
The BMKG explains the earthquake is not potentially a tsunami. However, the BMKG urge people to be wary of possible aftershocks.
