Ukraine, Spasi-id.com - after denying the issue of mass murder that Russia was accused of during its occupation a few months back, the Ukraine found two mass burial sites containing hundreds of bodies in Izium, the city that the Kyoiv troops took from Russia, said President Volodymyr.
President Zelensky made his comment in an interview with CBS published on Sunday night, which he also called for continued sanctions of Russia.
"Today I received more information. They found two more mass graves, big graves with hundreds of people. We're talking about the small town of Izium," said President Zelensky, rambling the Reuben (26 / 9).
"Sanctions need to continue. It will have political impact, and financial impact," the cover.
After the Russian occupation over the months, the Ukrainian authorities found a large burial site next to the cemetery in the wooded area of Izium earlier this month, and launched an investigation into the death.
Last week, they finished digging up 436 bodies. The majority of them seem to have died of violence and there are early indications, 30 of them have been tortured, said the county governor.
Moreover, the bodies of seventeen soldiers were also dug from mass graves at the location.
Russian authorities are not commenting on Zelenskiy's statement about the discovery of two more funeral sites.
It is known that Moscow regularly denies committing atrocities in Ukrainian wars or targeting civilians.
