It was wrong. The fact is snakes aren't afraid of salt.
Head of the Indonesian Sioux Serpent Foundation Aji Rachmat Purwanto says the Snake belongs in reptile categories instead of molluscs. This animal is not afraid of salt at all, so it's useless to sprinkle salt around the house in an effort to ward off snakes.
"To reduce the population of the cobra snakes could be done with catch and relocationi techniques, not by being killed," said Aji.
Aji says, in order to reduce the existence of the child cobra, citizens are expected to be able to get their hands on unregulated areas and rarely be held. Because a pile of untreated materials and gardens became a sanctuary for snakes to hide in.
"Empty houses spray with mosquito fogging periodically so that the inner animals don't fit in and move on," said Aji.
