Jakarta, Spasi-id.com - about 95 percent narcotics, particularly menthafamin or meth-meth, goes to Indonesia on the sea path. So is the head of the National Narcotics Agency.

"I now observe that 95 percent of the entry of Menthafetamines or meth-meth comes from overseas and through the sea," said the Pol Peter Reinhard Golose in the House of Rah complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (7 / 9 / 2022).

Peter Reinhard Golose explained that the drugs were from the Golden Triangle or the Golden Triangle region that became the center of various kinds of narcotics in Southeast Asia and located in the outlying regions and mountains in northern Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos.

"We teamed up with neighboring countries because the drugs came in through the Straits of Malacca or through Aceh and Sumatra," he revealed.

He looked at the need to increase joint operations according to the President's instructions by moving the ministry and related agencies. The order was ordered by President (Inpres) No. 2, 2020 on the National Action Plan for Prevention and Distraction of Narcotics and Narcotics Distribution.

"We continue to increase the operation of martial arts, both independently and with the ministry and institutions, such as Customs, Bakamla, and AL TNI," he confirmed.
