In addition to playing football, many European football stars are visiting Indonesia just for the holidays or for the social activities it's running.

David Beckham had twice been to Indonesia, the first time in 2011 with LA Galaxy and did a trial fight with Timnas Indonesia. On the visit of the second David Beckham attended an AIA football event for the country in 2018.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo visited Indonesia in 2005 to meet a young boy named Marononist, the Maronist was one of the victims of the Tsunami of Aceb on 26 December 2004. Then in 2013 Ronaldo returned to Indonesia to plant mangrove trees with the Indonesian president back then Susilo Bautan Yudhoyono.
